HAPPY BIRTHDAY FEDR! Today is the anniversary of CMP's launch of the Forum for Excellence in Dispute Resolution, the first client and mediator network.

The Forum for Excellence in Dispute Resolution is the first it’s kind in the UK and offers substantial added value and prestige to our clients. Membership is available to organisations which can demonstrate a real commitment to, and implementation of, innovative methods of managing and resolving conflicts at work. Those present, who represented some of the UK’s largest organisations, were invited to network, sharing ideas of best practice and discussing next steps for their organisations. We are very proud to be sponsoring our associate Anita Craig to take part in a Women's Build Programme in the Philippines this October. This is to help build houses and give hope to families very much less fortunate than ourselves. Anita first took part in this programme in November 2005 in Mexico and says "I found this to be one of the most inspiring and rewarding experiences of my life." She is hoping to raise £1,600 to take part.

CMP Mediation Training boosts dispute resolution at University of Sunderland. The University completed their training 18 months ago with CMP and developed an internal mediation scheme with eight mediators. 12 cases have since been completed and the University claim "we've had a more constructive situation after mediation than before".
