The Coaching Service
Coaching is a collaborative partnership between a middle- to upper-level executive, the organisation, and a coach.
The purpose of this partnership is to facilitate both the individual's and the organisation's learning, and to achieve identified business results. We work to ground-rules, time-frames, goals and measures of success. The approaches we use help to facilitate skill-building, performance improvement, personal development, as well as the exploration, definition and implementation of their leadership abilities.
In order to meet your objectives, we, together with the individual will:
- Explore their current management and communication style paying particular attention to their working relationships
- Develop a customized learning contract
- Use a solution-focused approach
- work with adult-learning principles of awareness, action and reflection to explore listening, influencing and communication techniques to assist with self-awareness, assertiveness, overcoming barriers and communication development
- Encourage a change in thinking, build competencies and practice ways to improve and refine skills and behaviour using rehearsal and role play
