In-house training
We recognize that an accreditation is important to many clients and delegates, and we have chosen not to self-accredit as we believe that route does not provide the same rigorous external badge of quality as that provided by the ILM and the OCR.
We understand that it is important for staff to receive recognition when they have attended courses that then require them to apply the new skills back at work; and for their training to contribute towards existing CPD pathways. Certificated training is also important because it signals that we have undertaken some quality assurance measures in developing our courses, thereby adding value to our programmes.
Why our training succeeds
After over 15 years' delivering mediation and conflict management training, we believe we know why training can fail to have the impact it is intended to. Training fails when:
- it does not include pre-assessment of the participants' skills and expectations
- it has an unhinged skill-base
- role conflicts are not filtered at the point of entry on to the training
- participants' expectations are unrealised in their cultural reality
Conflict Management Plus training succeeds because we:
- Link training to your strategy and policy
- Work with you to plan the programme
- Provide a coherent skills base
- Manage role conflicts through recruitment on to the programmes
- Work transparently with delegates to manage their expectations
- Feed back to client key organizational learning points and recommendations
