2. The Equality and Diversity series
All these courses are tailored to the participants. Each course can be taken as a stand alone course, or you can use these titles as a menu from which to can create a special programme for your staff. We specialise in tailored in-house programmes.
Many of the disputes coming to our dispute resolution services are the result of badly applied policies, inconsistent approaches, and poor understanding of the issues connected with diversity and equality. Our training in this area is legally accurate, in depth, and skills-based.
Participants get the opportunity to practice and develop skills for handling workplace situations including misunderstandings, miscommunication, prejudice, and discrimination.
The series includes:
2.1 Taking the adversity out of diversity - 2 day challenging oppresive behaviour at work - ILM endorsed
2.2 Managing equality and diversity policy and practice
2.3 Dispute resolution, dialogue and diversity at work - 1 and 2 day skills and strategies for using dispute resolution on bullying, harassment and dignity at work issues
2.4 Managing without bullying - 1 day awareness and skills
2.5 Dignity at work for managers and staff - 1 day awareness and skills
2.6 The complete diversity and equality dispute resolution practitioner - 8 day modular skills course covers mediation, neutral assessment and investigation in a diversity and equality context
