Key training areas
1. The Mediation series
A range of mediation training for all needs. If you do not see a mediation course here for your team or group we will create one for you. We have trained people to use mediation skills in prisons, communities, MoD agencies, car leasing companies, drug companies, government agencies, local authorities, national and international charities.
People trained by CMP are using these skills to resolve conflicts and rebuild relationships between different sections of the community, neighbours, partners, prisoners and prison staff, police officers and sergeants, tenants and landlords, families and homeless children.
Anywhere in the UK we will come and talk to people about mediation, contact us to request a visit from one of our consultants.
1.1 Introduction to mediation - half to 1 day overview of mediation skills and strategies
1.2 Mediation in the work-place seminar - half to 1 day overview of initiatives in the field and uses of mediation at work
1.3 Selecting and recruiting mediators - short workshops
1.4 Core mediation skills - 2 day essential basics of workplace mediation
1.5 Certificate in mediation skills at work - 6 day intensive leading to OCR national award. This is also run as a public programme.
1.6 Private Study Pack day - 1 day
1.7 Refresher training for mediators - 1 day courses to keep mediators on track
1.8 Advanced mediation practice - a series of 1 day programmes for CPD
1.9 Diploma in mediation skills and practice - get qualified as a work-place mediator accredited by OCR and Conflict Management Plus Ltd
1.10 Upgrade from Core to Certificate - days 3-6 of the Certificate course

This series of training covers all the skills managers need to understand conflict at work, and take appropriate steps to resolve and close it when it does arise.
All these courses are tailored to the participants. Each course can be taken as a stand alone course, or you can use these titles as a menu from which to can create a special programme for your staff. We specialise in tailored in-house programmes.
