1.9 The Diploma in Mediation Skills and Practice
This programme is accredited by OCR (Oxford, Cambridge and RSA Examinations Boards) and Conflict Management Plus Ltd. As well as being delivered in-house, the Diploma is available as a public training course.

Mediation is a dynamic, exciting field, but outside the field of family mediation it is one that is unregulated and with few quality controls in place. There are precious few formally recognised professional qualifications in mediation to date. Clients and key stakeholders quite rightly expect high standards, quality assurance and consistency in service provision. Our Diploma in Mediation Skills and Practice meets those expectations and stands as the best independently approved nationally recognised qualification in mediation available in the UK.
This professional qualification offers a personal and professional development programme for mediators.
All training and supervision for the Diploma run by Conflict Management Plus Ltd comes with national approval and recognition by the major accreditors of continuing education, OCR.
Three benefits of holding the Diploma:
- Promote yourself as a qualified mediator – holding a certificate level qualification does not allow this
- Work on the most challenging workplace disputes with gravitas, skill and confidence
- Be in a position to work with systemic conflict and make a real difference in your mediation impact

| The National Diploma in Mediation Skills and Practice bridges the gap between mediation training and mediation practice. It gives mediators and their clients a nationally accepted externally accredited badge of quality assurance. |
