Working for us

We are always interested in hearing from experienced practitioners in our field of work.

However, we simply do not have the resources to develop new talent. We have an in-house mentoring scheme for people nominated off our training courses, and, of course mentor our new recruits, however experienced, as we have a way of working which is quite specific. We are clear to our clients that they will be getting experienced practitioners and trainers from us, so that's what we have to provide.

Getting in to our organisation is difficult, because we want to work with people who are the best.

This must, we are sure, feel like a closed shop from the outside, and it is indeed difficult for people to start off in this profession and to earn their living from mediation and similar work.

So, because of the nature of our work, and our commitment to our clients, we are only able to take on people with a minimum of three years' paid work, not necessarily in the UK , in one or other (or both) of the following areas:

  • Workplace mediation
  • Workplace investigations into bullying and harassment

There are three ways of working with us:

  • As an associate - with excellent daily rates, administrative support, and first-class training and practitioner opportunities
  • As a part-time employee - working a 60 per cent week as a trainer/practitioner with your own clients and projects, and all the benefits of employment on a desirable salary
  • As a full-time employee - usually only offered at a consultant level, where you will be expected to manage client relationships, and support the development on the business, in addition to some platform work.

All our trainers need also to be practitioners in their field. Practitioners don't have to be trainers.

We offer extremely interesting work with the leading provider of conflict management in the workplace in the UK. You will receive ongoing support and development and the stimulation of working with some of the best practitioners in this area.

If you have the right sort of background, then please send your cv - showing your experience in our field in detail - and a covering letter outlining what you can bring to Conflict Management Plus Ltd. We look forward to hearing from you.

Our remuneration policy aims to:

"attract and retain high quality staff, committed to the company's objective"

"Staff issues are commonly dealt with on the day (both positive and negative)"

"At company and team meetings, staff ideas are listened to, discussed and in many cases appropriate action taken "
